We're a small team of collectors — you'll get a real reply.
Stuck on something, found a bug, or want a feature?
soibits@soibits.comCommon questions
Do I need an account?
No. Collektor works fully offline in guest mode — catalogue as many items and collections as you like without ever signing up. An account only becomes useful when you want your collection to sync across devices, or want to use the community features.
Is it really free? What's the catch?
There's no catch. Unlimited items and unlimited collections, free. We're building a premium tier for people who want video on their items, more storage, custom categories, and richer ways to display a collection — but the free app stays the whole app.
What happens to my data if I move from guest mode to an account?
Your local collection is uploaded and synced to your new account, including photos you added while offline. Nothing is lost.
My photos aren't showing up.
Photos upload in the background and need a connection. If you added them offline, they'll upload the next time you're online and signed in. If a photo still doesn't appear after that, email us — include roughly when you added it and we'll dig into it.
Who can see my collections?
Nobody, until you say so. Every collection is private by default. You can change a collection to friends (visible to people who follow you) or public (visible to any signed-in Collektor user) from the collection's detail screen. See the privacy policy for the full picture.
How do I delete my account?
From your profile in the app. This permanently removes your items, collections, photos, and profile from our servers. If you'd rather we did it for you, email soibits@soibits.com.
Barcode scanning didn't recognise my item.
Our product catalogue doesn't cover everything, especially for niche or vintage pieces. When there's no match, the scan still attaches the frame as a reference photo and you can fill in the details by hand.
